About

Stefan Poikonen is an assistant professor at the University of Colorado Denver Business School. He obtained his PhD from the University of Maryland's program of Applied Mathematics and Scientific Computation under the guidance of Dr. Bruce Golden. His research focuses on vehicle routing, drone operations, optimization, and electric vehicle operations. He is also interested in robust routing, online routing, and applications to humanitarian relief. Other questions in optimization using techniques such as integer prgramming, dynamic programming, convex programming, heuristics, or other network algorithms are topics of interest. At St. Olaf College, Stefan double-majored in mathematics and economics.
